私货：

之前翻过《凉凉》和《起风了》，其实动机跟这次也差不多。都是机缘巧合看到了他们所谓的“英文版”，点开一看却发现既不翻译、又无神韵，可以说既不信也不达，故难以称雅。所以我每次都会出于拨乱反正的目的也出一版我的翻译。

我翻译的时候会加上一条“没什么必要”的约束，就是中文压什么韵，我的译文便也压什么韵；中文有多少音节，我便也用多少音节——追求音韵上的工整，而不放低要求强塞音节。

翻译界喜欢说一个概念叫“lost in translation”，指的是翻译过程中一定会有语义上的损失。我承认这个现象本身，但是好的翻译总是可以最大程度上保留住原文的信息以及原文所传达出的感情。而这些更高级的追求，首先应当建立在原文内容翻译准确的前提之上。
